Question No.33

what kind of
PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC METHOD
would rF be?

What kind of psychotherapeutic approach (or school) would the Remontant Fury be?

The Remontant Fury would be a new, free-spirited, boundless, less distanced, wild, lively, exchanging, eye-level communicating, life-hungry, curious, open-hearted encounter – all in all an authentic, flexible therapeutic approach.

Why:
New, because the old ones are often shaped by very male thinking, even hierarchical (especially the old psychoanalysis).

Therapists have to be ‘sitting’, are not allowed to reveal anything private about themselves, are not allowed to be directive, work less intuitively than patients, the therapy schools are clearly distinguished from each other in theory.

Free-spirited, because in my experience only such a flow-experience can accelerate the therapeutic process significantly and lead to the positive experience of feeling seen and accepted.

Boundless in thinking – anything is possible. Even in therapy, mental boundaries are set that define healing and that patients must reach to be considered "healthy." The Remontant Fury would soften the set "norm" – there is no normal. It would embody in every form: No one is "normal" and that is a good thing.

Less distanced: The artificial distance between patients and therapists is not necessary in my opinion. No formal address, ideally no physical barriers, no rigid sitting in the office with chairs far apart. This would loosen up and adapt individually to the needs of the patients.

Wild: all techniques, regardless of the school, all methods, all intuitive ideas from therapists are welcome – naturally always in benevolent and healing ways for the patients. Sessions would not be limited to practice rooms but freely selectable.

Lively: bubbling, fully reflecting authentic emotion, self-experienced wisdom, heartfelt, touching, and clairvoyant, the Remontant Fury may let itself be immersed in patients.

Exchanging: In the psychotherapeutic approach of the Remontant Fury, one's own stories, emotions, and experiences are allowed to be shared and not every reaction needs to be held back – this, in my estimation, creates a distance that can make patients feel "judged" or "not at eye level."

Eye-level communicating: Similar to exchanging, it shows vulnerability, notes emotional touch.

Life-hungry and curious: it may immerse itself in patients with full interest and enthusiasm, delighting in life and experiencing things they have never seen before. Because people who dare to truly encounter each other constantly show new wonders in the emotional world. The Remontant Fury could ensure that authentic appearances lead to fundamental trust – to be who one is and to open up without fear, knowing they are held securely.

Open-hearted encounters: With an open gaze and absolute belief in the good and unwavering hope and will, giving us the chance at any moment to lovingly embrace life for ourselves and the people around us.
