What kind of autopoietic system would be rF ?
The Remontantfury rF would be her own well-explored inner system, where all parts interact with one another lovingly and attentively. Such constellations of facets or sides are often called “teams,” yet to me the rF’s inner system feels less like something that could happen in an office, and far more like a clan of great apes. There are many more sides than I can describe here. But those mentioned already give a first impression:
In the inner clan lives a female silverback gorilla—the Silberrückin. She ignores conventional roles and loves to show the raw strength of her powerful muscles.
The Fire-Being keeps things in motion. At times it glows quietly, warming the others with its energy. But the moment the world turns unjust it goes POOF—suddenly vast, blazing, and not always mild-tempered.
The Belly makes sure the rF enjoys her life. The Belly does not think—it feels: what brings pleasure, what tastes good, what smells sweet, who or what nourishes. And whoever does not think also does not listen, nor judge what others say—wonderfully at ease!
The cheerfulness of rF leaps from branch to branch, savoring each playful leap of thought.
Of course, in the clan also live the hesitant and the doubtful sides that rF too carries within. They are not cast out, but gently provided for by the other clan members with whatever they need.
For example, the doubting teenage-self: an insecure fourteen-year-old lying in her cave in a dark mood, comparing herself with others and judging harshly.
Or the fear of loss, which suddenly appears like a spider in the room, spreading a cold and nasty chill.
But as we know, autopoietic systems regulate themselves, and so it is here: Serenity may spend her time drifting on an air mattress, yet she reliably shows up when a whispered “who cares” is what the teenage-self needs.
Motherliness, meanwhile, makes sure the rF is kind to herself. She also lends her ear to fear, sets down a warm soup, and simply lets it be—until the chill has passed.
And above it all sits Creativity, perched on a rock, knowing when it is time to invent new sides, and what it takes for rF to be as she longs to be: STRONG and FREE.
